MeetCha is a casual bubble tea café nestled on Forbes Avenue, offering a relaxed retreat for anyone looking to unwind with a refreshing drink in hand. This spot stands out with its thoughtful menu featuring a mix of traditional and inventive options — from classics like Brown Sugar Boba with Milk to more unique creations such as the Coconut Mango Dream and a homemade Ube Mochi Milk Tea that shows a commitment to fresh, daily-prepared ingredients.

The atmosphere here leans toward laid-back and inviting, with a variety of seating setups that accommodate both solo visits and small groups. It’s the kind of place where locals might drop by on a sunny afternoon to enjoy a smoothie or fresh fruit tea, or swing in during the workweek for a bubble tea break that feels a bit more special than the usual grab-and-go. The staff come across as friendly without being overbearing, contributing to an easy-going vibe that complements the clean, simple space.

MeetCha’s menu does well balancing adventurous blends like the Mango Pomelo Sago Smoothie — a creamy fusion of mango, coconut milk, and fresh fruit — alongside more straightforward options like jasmine green tea infused with freshly squeezed orange. This variety means anyone from classic milk tea fans to smoothie lovers can find something to satisfy their taste buds.

For those exploring Highland Park or nearby student-heavy neighborhoods, MeetCha offers a reliable spot to slow down and enjoy a thoughtfully crafted drink. The best times to visit tend to be mid-afternoon, when the café’s calm energy pairs well with a casual chat or solo reading session. It’s less about hustle and more about savoring something a little different from the typical bubble tea experience, which helps it carve out a distinct place in Pittsburgh’s growing tea scene.

If you’re looking for the ultimate bubble tea experience, this place is a must-visit! From the moment I walked in, I could tell they put real care into every detail of their drinks. The menu has an impressive variety of flavors and customizations, so there’s something for everyone, whether you’re a classic milk tea fan or love trying new and unique flavors. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, the couches sitting area makes it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. Highly recommended!!

Had a quick sit in during a k-pop event. The inside was adorable with a range of chairs or booths. They had both oat and soy as dairy alternatives as well. Can highly recommend the Peach Oolong and the Brown Sugar. The Brown Sugar is very mild for those of you who like the flavor but not intense sweetness as much!

Housed right next to Kyo Matcha, a great matcha and drink spot too, MeetCha had some fun options for drinks. The brown sugar milk tea had a foamy texture that was really nice, definitely recommend getting 50% or less sugar which balanced the pearl out perfectly. Their seasonal Watermelon Coconut Sago though was a stand out, so incredibly refreshing with chunks of fresh watermelon, crystal pearl, and the creamy coconut milk, best summer drink I’ve had! The only negative is that the stand was very understaffed, with only one poor worker running around with many in store and online orders, making the wait really long. I hope they hire more people soon because I can’t wait to come try their other drinks soon!
